Application Process
Once we receive your completed application form and resume, our Director of Studies, Paul Michel, will consider them. We will then send you the result as soon as possible. If you do not hear from us within 5 working days, please first check your \'spam\' or \'bulk\' email folders before getting back into contact with us. Depending on your teacher training and prior experience of teaching English as a second language, we may ask you to prepare sample lesson plans before inviting you to conduct an in-person or telephone interview with Mr Michel at a mutually convenient time.
Assuming that your interview is successful and that we make you a job offer, then we will arrange your start date and discuss the terms of your contract.
To prepare your contract we will need to collect copies of the following documents:
- TEFL/Celta/Trinity certificate (if held)
- Degree certificate or transcripts
- Current resume/CV
- Passport
Once we have your contract prepared we’ll send you an email version and a hard copy in the post. You will be asked to read over the contract and return one copy signed by you.
When we receive your signed copy of your contract we will send you information about an orientation day before your start date (usually the Thursday before your start date). The orientation day is designed to help you to adjust to your new job and meet everybody here in Caledonian
