Would you like to study or work abroad? Then IELTS is the right choice for you!
 
You can choose from two types of IELTS test: Academic or General Training, depending on whether you want to study, work or migrate. Both modules are made up of four parts – Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. IELTS results are graded on the unique IELTS 9-band scale.

Listening
 
•    40 questions in 4 sections (multiple choice, matching, plan/map/diagram labelling, form completion, note completion, table completion, flow-chart completion, summary completion, sentence completion, short-answer questions)
 
 
Reading
 
•    40 questions in 3 sections (multiple choice, identifying information (True/False/Not Given), identifying writer’s views/claims (Yes/No/Not Given), matching information, matching headings, matching features, matching sentence endings, sentence completion, summary completion, note completion, table completion, flowchart completion, diagram label completion, short-answer questions)
 
 
Writing
 
•    2 tasks (candidates are required to write at least 150 words for Task 1 and at least 250 words for Task 2)
 

Speaking
 
•    3-part face-to-face oral interview with an examiner (Introduction and interview, Individual long turn, Two-way discussion)
