What are the LTE language exams?
Pearson Language Assessments offer language exams based on communication which asses and evaluate the use of English.

Whatever your reasons for learning English may be, LTE language exams can satisfy various needs of all students. Candidates can start with the stage that best corresponds to their level of English and they can move up as they improve their knowledge and skills.

What is the goal of the LTE language exams?

LTE asses and evaluates positive, gradual successes at learning English

What are the advantages of the LTE language exams?

  • they check the practical skills of using the language
  • focus more on communication than on vocabulary and grammar
  • there is no separate grammar part (grammar is evaluated with the language skills)
  • it is not necessary to attend a special preparatory course or learn specific exam techniques as it is with the Cambridge exams
  • less expensive than the Cambridge exams
  • they are recognised by many universities, employers, and Ministries of Education all over the world as evidence of mastering a certain language level
